| Ok, so, things are really weird right now with my life. Not only am I falling behind on writing in my journal, but there are tremendous changes going on. Not that that's a bad thing, I mind you, because a little change is always good.
I LOVE my new college. I've met some new friends that I have begun to hang out with outside of school. This is really great for me, because even though my current best friends are the greatest, I'm glad to widen my circle. This weekend is going to be fun because I have so much planned. Tonight I am hanging out two of my best friends ever, then tomorrow, introducing them to the new people I've met. I think it's a good transition.
Other then that, I'm starting to like myself better. This sounds weird, I am sure. Shouldn't I have always liked myself? Well, it isn't that I haven't in the past, I'm just starting to appreciate myself more, I guess you could say. I'm a very emotional person. The emotions I have for my family, friends, loved ones are genuine and real. I haven't been able to say I've 'gripped' that until here lately.
Although I do have a confusing situation going on in my love life right now, I think it has hope. I have hope anyway. I'm not even going to go into it for the sake of confusing anyone who reads this, because it's difficult. I'm just going to stay true to myself, even if nothing comes of it but more than a good friend. That's ok. I'll cope.

| I was sitting in one of my classes today. Countless things run through my mind in class. Since I'm an avid writer, I tend to jot the more crucial thoughts down. This one is still sticking to me like glue:
Isn't it weird how all your dreams...everything [down to the dream house, vacations at the beach, your first love being your last love, that great family, etc, etc]...is so unattainable because you NEED it so bad?
I guess if I [us] did get everything we wanted, they would no longer be dreams. But in reality, these things I dream about aren't what I would consider "dreams." They're needs.

| Last night/today was fuuuun. I hadn't seen Billie in a month. Billie is my bestest friend ever. We've been tight since I was 3 and she was 2. She got married a few years ago and still lives in my old hometown, so we don't we to see each other too often. Last night we did, though.
...we went to the old pizza place we love and had dinner...went and seen her mom...then watched the first two seasons of Saved by the Bell on DVD 'til 4 am. I loooove that show. Was definitely a Saved by the Bell Marathon!
